I don't want a TN... because the image quality is apparently bad, but if you can find a monitor that is TN with a low response time and has good image quality, link me to one, as long as it is under 250 pounds.

I would like a 23 inch ips monitor that has a low response time, well, as low as it can go.

I have been looking at the Asus MX239H and the Asus PA238Q but surely there is something better! what would you reccomend?

I also looked at the Eizo Foris FS2333-PN, but I still dont know.

I REALLY NEED HELP!

I just went through the same dilemma. I really wanted to go with IPS, better colors cleaner picture. But after doing research for a few weeks, I went with the ASUS VG248QE, I know you said you didn’t want a TN panel, I found that the IPS panels don’t have very good response time most were 8ms and up, and the input lag is higher than TN panels.

I play allot of shooter type games like BF4. so I opted for the lower response time and input lag. The ASUS VG248QE had nothing but amazing reviews for gaming, and you can get a DIY G-Sync kit for it as you upgrade your computer.

Good luck!

Do you ever feel like the colour and image quality isnt that good though? Also, I am on AMD so I dont think the G-sync would be that much use... XD

Yeah the G-Sync isn’t going to do anything for you, so you can save that $200 usd for upgrades later on. I only game on my PC so when I am running around shooting people the colors being off/washed a tiny bit is the last thing I notice. If you do allot of photo editing then I could see maybe having a problem with the colors, but for gaming the 144hz and fast response and input lag are amazing.
