For all you slim line case folks out there, Galaxy just released a low-profile version of the new Maxwell equipped GTX 750 and 750 Ti. It even has a small factory OC to the core. It's still a 6 pin-free card. At this time it is only available direct from Galaxy. But I suspect that will change.

It performs good. And now they are throwing in the L-P brackets with the card after I took them to task. I also had a Evga GTX 750 Ti Superclocked card. The Galaxy performed just a tad slower than the Evga. Probably due to the slightly lower clock speed and memory speed. But the Galaxy is still above reference speeds. It is quiet and seems to run cool in a full size case. For awhile I had it in a low profile HTPC case, and it still ran quiet and cool... although not as cool as it does in a full size case.

I got this result running a Phenom II X4 @ 3.74GHZ with the Hitman Absolution benchmark (1080p, max settings):

Thanks for the detailed response. I am running a slightly slower Athlon x2 6000+ dual core at 3.0ghz so I will see slightly lower fps but I'll be just fine with it.

That's not the same card I was referring to last April. But it is a decent GTX 750 Ti and should be nearly the equal to the Galaxy. That and another L-P GTX 750 Ti card has come out since I opened this thread. Here is the MSI version: http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N750Ti-2GD5TLP.html#hero-overview
The clcok speed is slightly lower than on the Gigabyte.

Neither the Gigabyte nor the MSI card requires a 6 pin PCIe connection. They both run off the PCIe x16 slot's power.

Btw, the SATA power connector wouldn't be suitable for a 6 pin PCIe adapter anyway. You would need the extra current carrying capacity of the PSU's Molex connector for using an adapter if that was what you were referring to.

Most GTX 750 do not require a 6 pin PCIe connector. That is usually reserved for the hi-end GTX 750 Ti cards from manufactures that allow for massive OC'ing and want to provide some power headroom. But you can see for yourself at this website (Newegg) using the 360 degree rotational view. Just click on the card's pic. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125677

The only GTX 750 that I can think of that has a 6 pin header is this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487034
