why does speccy show my ddr3 1333 running at 665MHz

I am running 8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 1333 but its showing up in speccy @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24) is this normal? my bios shows it 1333 windows and speccy show above 665Mhz

665*2 =1330, this is correct, it's just how you measure it.

13thmonkey is correct, this is DDR (DOUBLE data rate) so always take true freq (665 here) times 2 to get effective
