Well, i'm going to bag myself a new graphics card, and can get myself a new r9 900 for just over £200... and i'm considering 3D gaming so I look at the monitors that AMD 3D supports and I find my best bet is the Samsung 750 or 950 series, which aside from being expensive are hardly in stock anywhere in the country (the UK).
To get AMD 3D tech to work, can it just be any 3D monitor with a display port connectivity thingymajig? To be honest I'm a bit confused, websites offering help seem to assume i know this stuff and in the reviews. So yeah guys, what kind of monitors can I buy for this? Or Will I have to go with the more expensive GTX 780 to have a decent 3D experience with 60fps gaming?

For running 3D in games that doesn't have built-in 3D support, (which are almost any game out there). You'll need to buy the 3D software yourself, it's called TriDef 3D and set you back $39,99. Though i'm pretty sure Nvidia is in the lead when it comes to 3D. The software is also included though their "Nvidia 3D vision 2" glasses are expensive as hell.

So AMD 3DHD is the cheaper way, Nvidia 3D vision is the better, yet much more expensive. (though normal active 3D glasses are probably not cheap either)
