I am trying to upgrade my graphics from a SyncMaster (1600x900@60Hz)
1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series (ATI AIB) 39 °C
to an ASUS Nvidia GeForce GTX760 but the drivers have failed to install three times now. I have removed and replaced the card to make it is seated properly but my pc does not seem to be identifying it.
System is....
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i7 2600K @ 3.40GHz 49 °C
Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24)
Motherboard
ASUSTeK Computer INC. P8P67 PRO (LGA1155) 34 °C
Graphics
SyncMaster (1600x900@60Hz)
1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6800 Series (ATI AIB) 38 °C
PSU 750W
The new card has two connections on the top edge but I do not know what they are for.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Steve.
