I have a HP Pavilion HPE h8-1010NL and I've never opened it up so I have no idea if it'll fit or not.

I'm very new to upgrading my rig and I don't want there to be some problem if and when I order the card.

close call .cause 770 on non reference design are almost 11 inch long . and you case is not that roomy for that

That's a shame, what about a 760?

use ur measuring tape or ruler, if it has room for a 30cm long gpu from ur PCIe slot to the front (to HDD bay) then most gpu will be fine. Only, if it is barely enough, the rooting will be tough

your PCI-e slot is mentioning 16x 1.0(on website) which is not suitable for big cards .but if it is 2.0 so 760 is good choice . 770 will have some bottleneck issues . . check the available length with scale to see how muchyou can get . and also PSU is a issue

Your PSU is not going to be up to the task to powering any high end graphics card (most likely not even a medium end one).
You will need to plan on replacing your psu. You can always replace your case as well and move your mobo/cpu/ram/hard drive over to the case.

Factory PCs are overall just not good platforms to upgrade on. The parts in them are just not designed with upgrading in mind or to be used for something more then what they were designed for. You could easily find that even after you replace the PSU and get a new graphics card that your case is not allowing enough cooling.
