Do I need another power cable?

But it only has 1 SATA connector. Doesn't a HDD and Optical Drive both require their own?

yes they do require there own . you can get molex to sata adapters for that

adapters are easy to use . plug the female molex connector to your psu molex connector and the other end is sata so plug it into your drive

Get a new one , don't buy computer hardware from ebay.
