recently built my first gaming rig!
specs
AMD Athlon x4 750k 3.4Ghz Quad
GTX 750 SC 2GB GDDR5
4GB DDR3 1600MHZ CORSAIR VENGENCE B
WD REFURB 250GB HDD 7200RPM
Win 7 64 bit home prem
all drivers updated!
EVER SINCE I GOT MY NEW PC
from first boot the hard drive has been making a horrable grinding/screeching noise c
i have been getting stuttering in all of my games low fps all my games it is always UNPREDICtable
like for an example black ops 2 drops to 30 fps randomly at start.
minecraft dropped from 230fps to 0 fps and crashed saying read error or somthing
AND battlefield 3 freezes and stutters really bad it dropped from 82 fps to 30 fps then from 90 fps to 2FPS!
i have already sent the drive in for an RMA waiting on the replacement.
is it likely it was the hard drive causing all of this D: ?

cpu has been stress tested with prime 95 and it never went over 65C at maximum load after running for 12 hrs stright.
