Has it just started? Have you just put in a new Graphics Card? Have put the new card fuly into the pcie slot and closed the lock? have you put the monitor cable on the dvi-i connector (as opposed to dvi-d)? Post your build list.

Press F2 to get into Bios.

so it should be black until I press f2? My build is:

Intel i3 4130

gtx 750 ti

8 gb ripjaws

I forgot the name of the motherboard but it all works fine

400 watt psu(I know it isn't a lot)

Everything boots fine, just a black screen. I'll be sure to get back to you in the morning if it is still unsolved :)

It might be that the monitor went into sleep mode when i was testing, who knows?

And Happy Easter!

Your Power Supply is on the small side. If its a quality make and model it should be OK. You'll have to open up the case and look at the PSU ans let us know what make and model it is. Similar with the motherboard. Or if you've got receipts for the PC it might list this info.

If you have another PCIe slot on your motherboard, try switching the video card to that slot and booting. Or you can also try taking your video card out and plugging in the monitor to the motherboard onboard graphics as well. Also make sure that your monitor is plugged into the graphics card and not the motherboard.

I had it plugged into the motherboard, whoops. And the adapter provided dosent fit the graphics card, which dosen't make sense at all...My graphics card is plugged into a crap ton of things so I'm just gonna buy another adspter and test it then... :(

Until you can get an adapter you can take out the graphics card and plug your monitor into the motherboard, it should work.
