First time OCer, following this guide: http://www.simforums.com/forums/haswell-48ghz-on-air-bu....

The guide says that I MUST have a Haswell-certified PSU. I have a Corsair HX650 and according to Corsair's site, this PSU is "likely compatible". I just want to make sure... the guide is OCing with C states enabled but if I just keep C6/C7 disabled (default) there shouldn't be any problems, right? Thanks.

you dont need a haswell certified psu to overclock, thats only to make full usage of the haswell energy saving technology. your psu should be fine for OC'ing.
