Hi. So, my laptop is fairly new (bought on March 30, 2014) and I've never gotten this problem just until today. When I started to turn on my laptop, I noticed some flickering when it says "Please Wait..." Then it keeps blinking and then, after a while, it goes to the login screen. (Windows 8.1 btw. It came with the laptop already.) there's a long delay until I get to log in too. At this point, I didn't even get what was happening because I'm not really good at these things. So, I restarted it. When I did, it was still doing the same thing. When I was doing this, I didn't bother to plug in the charger because I was so confused. Then I noticed, I could actually do stuff (lol). So I was like, "Okay, it's fixed, I guess." And I plugged in the charger. Then it started flickering and flickering and turned into a blank screen.
So that's the story of my day, and please, I really need the help. I don't want to lose a laptop, especially when it's new.
I'm using the Dell Inspiron 14R 5437. With the Intel Core i5-4200, NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M and 4gb RAM.
