Hi! I'm new here

I'm plaaning to add another videocard - SAPPHIRE R7 240 1GB GDDR5 WITH BOOST (128bit)

MY current system is

intel core i5 4670
asus vanguard b85
8gb ram
800W PSU
and 1GB HIS HD 5850 256bit DDR5

my question is, can this two different GPU work together? HOW? and do i need a crossfire bridge? thanks

Xfire can work with two different GPUs as long as they are the same family. IE 280x and 7970 as they are both Tahiti gpus.
As for those two, no you will have to pick one or the other.
EDIT: This is a good visual way to look at it. http://sites.amd.com/PublishingImages/Public/Graphic_Il...

oh, thanks! good thing i didnt bought it yet. but can i crossfire 2 SAPPHIRE R7 240 1GB GDDR5 WITH BOOST (128bit)?

which one would be better? crossfire 2 sapphire r7s or a single HIS HD 5850 256bit

I'm considering power efficiency but I also would like to play games in a good quality.

I often play GTA IV, CALL OF DUTY GHOSTS, and RIVALS - they can run on my computer even without a videocard but in a low level of detail in graphics. I want to experience a good graphics quality and also want to be efficient. so, which is better among the two options? a single HIS HD5850 or 2 r7 240s crossfire? Thankis a lot!

unfortunately no, you can xfire 2 different manufactures of card but the model number must be the same ie 2 R7 240's. Different model of cards are not compatible for xfire sorry see above post Gam3e01 hits the nail on the head :)
