Is Corsair VS450 enough for an AMD FX6300 and a Sapphire r9 270x Vapor-X?

Hi guys.
I've read on topics regarding this, but i can't seem to find an exact answer for my case.

I currently have the following setup:
CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 270 3.4GHz
GPU: PALIT GT630 2GB 128bit
MB: ASRock 970A Extreme3 R2
PSU: Corsair VS450
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 2x4GB 1600MHz CL8
HDD: 1x 500GB 7200rpm 3.5" internal, 1x 500GB WD 7200rpm 2.5" external, 1x 500GB Seagate 5400rpm 2.5" external
CASE: Raidmax Super Altas mid-tower blue
DVD: Samsung External dvd writer
MONITOR: 15.6" AOC LED Monitor
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Fan Controller: NZXT Sentry2 Touch screen fan controller
CPU Cooler: Deepcool Gammaxx 400
fans: 2x Deepcool Windblade120, 2x Deepcool Iceblade120 (on the CPU cooler), 1x Deepcool XFan 120U B/B, 1x raidmax stock non-LED fan
Others: NZXT 1m sleeved blue LED kit, PCI usb card

I plan to upgrade my CPU to an AMD FX 6300 and my GPU to Sapphire r9 270x vapor-x boost
My questions are:

1.) can my PSU handle these upgrades or will i fall short?
i've read that recommended psu's for the r9 270x is 500W, but more importantly, the 12v rail must supply at least 30amps. this PSU has 34amps on the 12v (though i also read it's not the best quality, but it's what i already have)

2.) with the other components listed above, will my PSU still be able to handle the upgrade?
i've used psu calculator, i get 466W when i input the following:
CPU: FX6300
2sticks DDR3 SDRAM
GPU: r9 270x
regular SATA: 2 drives (i sometimes use my other ext hdd internally b/c it was from a laptop and i use only an enclosure)
addt'l PCI: 1 card (a 4+1 usb pci card)
USB devices: 3 devices ("only check if device draws power" accdg to the psu calc; i usually charge gadgets on it; i excluded external dvd, flash drives, bluetooth modules, wireless kb/mouse receivers, broadband modems, card readers)
Others: fan controller, front bay lcd display (is my NZXT Sentry2 touch considered an lcd display or a fan controller or both?)
fans: 5x 120mm LED fans, 1x regular non-LED fan
system load: 90% recommended
cap aging: 15% (between the 10-20% recommended)

3.) i'm thinking of upgrading the components one at a time, is this order okay?
FX 6300 then r9 270x then PSU then HDD/SSD?
or
FX 6300 then PSU then r9 270x?

i am using this PC for light gaming [simulation(flight, city car driving, etc.), light to mid-end games (SC Blacklist & BF3 at the most, but it can handle others like BF4, AC3, Skyrim to name a few accdg to canyourunit.org, just short on the cpu & gpu in some games i.e. the "planned" upgrade)], school works/projects, video and photo editing.

i also overclocked my current CPU to 4GHz, but i doubt the PSU will handle overclocking the FX 6300 when paired with an r9 270x.

i might have more questions along the way.
i know i made some dumb decisions with my current components, please bear with me. :)

thanks in advance to anyone who'd take time to answer. :)

thank you for your reply.
i already have the 450W sir, it would be a little costly if i get a new PSU along with this upgrade.
i actually have a generic 700W PSU that's why i bought 450W about 4 months ago.
buying another when i have a fairly new one would be off since i'm a little constrained with my budget. :(
i've been looking for potential upgrades too, i'm eyeing a 750-800W for a headroom on future upgrades, but if it's possible, i want to be able to use my current PSU and upgrade the CPU first then the GPU or PSU.

what do you say if i upgrade only the CPU for now?
i think my dual core is slow for my purposes,
i'm not really graphics-intensive, i game in low to medium settings only.
the r9 upgrade would be a little more in the future. :)

You can just run your R9 270X and new FX-6300 CPU but no OC at all because your PSU will cut the edge with R9 270X.
