What $80ish GPU for 550W + FX-8350?

sorry, apparently there's no way to reply to a thread I started without triggering the 'solved' thing and then everyone thinks the thread's solved. So if I reply, I will edit this post with a reply below.

I know basically nothing about GPUs. Currently using a cheap MSI R5450. Need something better for "moderate gaming and HD video edit".
I'm considering used off ebay even though a lot will say not to do that.

I have an 8 pin PCIe power cable that can also plug only 6 of the 8 pins from my Antec 550W BP550 Plus. So PCIe is an option. I'm going to upgrade to something like an AMD FX-8350 (not overclocked) with an SSD, an optical and that's basically all plus two basic case fans. So I'm asking for suggestions for a GPU that won't need more power than the PSU can handle in that system.

I have a 19" dell LCD monitor but might get something like a 24" if that matters.

Please be specific about the model because when people say like 'get an HD 7770', I check ebay and there's like 10 completely different GPUs called HD 7770 even if I add NVIDIA or whatever brand it is.

thanks

Solution
I would strongly suggest save up an extra ~$30 and get a ATI Radeon HD 7770, best GPU for the price and has 1GB GDDR5 Memory, fastest available. $80 GPU's are rubbish so I would strongly suggest putting more in to get this decent GPU. Also this GPU was the first to break the 1000Mhz core clock record.

ok, I'll get that one, read a few others call it the best one in price range also in other threads. But again, as you can see, there's like 4 different looking ones when i search ebay for ATI Radeon HD 7770. ?

I think I'm actually going to just get an HD 7770 even though I can get around the same price a much better card that blows it out of the water but those cards use so much more watts than the 7770 and I did some calculations and being in the NY area paying more for electric than the rest of the US, it came out to like $50 more a year to use a better card for like 5 hours a day on average. But I'm rushing through this and not sure if I did that right and also out of those 5 hours, maybe one hour would be gaming and the rest would basically just be internet browsing if that even uses less watts meaning that I should just get a better card and it won't cost that much more per year.

thing is I don't even play games now, but when I do maybe within 6 months, I can at least start on the 7770 then get what I need at the time and prices of better cards will have come down by then and I wouldn't have spent like $25 more on electric by getting something better than the 7770 when I didn't even play video games.

I was considering the gtx 560 ti but it's like 90 more watts than hd 7770.

and Radeon HD 7950
650 ti
RADEON HD 7870
all more watts, but I'm rushing through this just trying to get a decent card so I might have missed something about the watts and actual electrical cost and everything.

and then when I search ebay for things like 650 ti, again, there's like 50 different kinds and I don't even want to do all the research, I'll probably just buy one and get ripped off lol.

If you would like to cut on the power, a Nvidia GTX 750Ti is the best card for power right now, and sure gives some kick with it.

My brother has an intel i7 3770k and a 7870 running on a cheap 550W PSU for 3 years now, So I will recommend a FX 8350 and a 7870 for sure without a drawback.
