If its 1080p or less 1 GB is more than enough.

All GTX-750ti made with 2GB VRAM only GTX-750(non-ti) has 1GB VRAM, I would go for GTX-750ti because it's faster than GTX-750 :)

Well that's kind of a general question. If you're wanting to play things like BF4, that's beginning to get taxing even on 2GB cards @ 1080p, though not quite at the point where it's creating a bottleneck. All depends on what you're playing.

Most graphics intensive games would use 1.8GB VRAM and highly modded skyrim will use about 3GB VRAM on single 1080p monitor.
Go for GTX-750ti with 2GB VRAM and you'll be fine or if you can spend about 190$ get PowerColor R9 270X :)

1GB is not enough for gaming at 1080p, for just running window yes, but not gaming.

My 580 uses all of it's 1.5GB on med-high BF4 and more than 1GB on most games.

Yeah i was running out of ram on newer games with 1gb. What happens is the fps will drop at random times up and down its really annoying. I game at 1080p with no problem now that I have 2gb
