Hello and sorry for my horrible english.

My PC won't detect gpu anymore, it started using igpu as default. I tried to plug gpu into another systems and it worked fine. So i plugged an old gpu (gtx 550 ti)and it worked for a few days, but now pc won't detect it as well. I tried changing mobo and psu, but it didn't help. Any ideas ?

mobo: gigabyte z77x-ud3h
gpu: msi nvidia geforce gtx660-2gd5/oc
ram: Kingston hyper x khx1600c10d3b1k2 8x2
psu: Chieftec GPM-850C 850w

What is meant: "Wan`t detect"? Is work as Default VGA card or not signal totally?
I had one NVidia card before. It was in HP original mini tower case. So, cause lack of air fluency - it overheated regular, then died, worked as default graphic couple hours and shut down all system.

After this, I bought Full Tower 4 fans and 2 GTX 550 ti for SLI mode. I Have no problem.

With this GTX 550ti was interesting thing happened a month ago. Periodically system started (all fans and HDD) but monitor was totally black with orange power button. When I tried choose source of signal manually - it said "your system in power safe mode".

Then, I pushed big button on tower (5 seconds) to shutdown and then - srart by this button. I did this srart-stop 3 times, then system work properly and card\screen too.

Week later I have to 5 times pushed start-stop to run system o_O

Finally: I brought system block to friend and we find out that power supply lines in 3V was broken and didnt work.

I changed power supply and system working as well as need.

So, my first guess was about overheating new cards again, but, surprisingly - it was power supply.
