as iam getting low fps than expected . for eg in bf4 iam getting 35 to 50 but i watched some
videos on gtx 760 they are getting 60fps in bf4 so i am worried that why its happening ?
and apart from that my gpu temp is alos on the high side like when playing bf4 its going till 84c
so please tell me what to do

my specs

gtx 760
i5 2500k
4gb ram (will upgrade to 8)

Your card has a 993 MHz (base) clock, and a 1059 MHz (boost) clock, this boost clock is ONLY achieved if the GPUs temperature is low and there is enough power.

To achieve lower GPU temperatures her are some things you can do:

1) Case. How big is your case? How many exhaust does it have?
2) Airflow. Your case generally should intake air from a front fan and exhaust it out the back fan for the best results.
3) Cable management. Cables should be tied down inside your case to maximise airflow throughout your case, thus keeping your components cooler.

When the Graphics is cool enough to "boost" you will receive more FPS from games.
Also try updating your drivers.

Finally you can use the EVGA precision X technology to achieve higher GPU clock speeds

Best Regards

No need to rma, a can of compressed air is fine but if feeling adventurous a micro fiber cloth, a light toothbrush, or slowly spinning the blades while discharged is another option. Compressed air is the best but is the card really that dusty. Might as well as clean out the other fans if doing this, if removing the heatsink you need thermal paste.

well my card is 4 months old, and i should mention that from day1 i am getting this temp only, and i am powering this
card using 4pin to 6pin molex could that be a reason for low fps ?

my psu is coolermaster thunder 500w and is having 1x6 pin connector
where as my zotac gtz 760 requires 2 of them, but i dont think that will effect my fps .

well as watch dogs requires gtx 780 to run , so i was much annoyed with pc stuffs because how much u will invest
at the end u will lack behind. so i was thinking of buying a console.

You won't need a GTX 780 to run watch dogs. I mean you "might" need one to completely max it out. But your rig should handle at the very least medium settings with 60fps.

If it required a 780 to play it, it wouldn't sell. At all.

but still if you will not max you will not get the satisfaction and that makes you angry .
but what should i do with my 450 dollars /?

The PS4 isn't gonna look better than medium settings.

than should i go for sli setup ?
but for that i will have to buy a new mobo

Considering you would need a new mobo, nope, not worth it. I'd just ebay the card and get a 780/780ti depending.

What you could also do is just sit on the money and if you don't like how it looks/performs then upgrade.

I think a nice 120-256 ssd is a fair upgrade idea. The 780 is really not needed since you won't see that big of increase in buying it new, you will lose money just reselling your old card. I think a card upgrade is not fruitful right now.
