Is gtx 770 enough for mid to high end 3d modelling and photo editing purpose?

Confused if I should buy a 770 or a quadro card for my brother who is a designer.

What would the difference be between a 770 and a quadro? which one is best value for money?

He doesnt do any gaming for now but might in the future.

For editing and 3d modelling Quadro is the best.The difference between GTX 770 and quadro is that GTX 770 is a gaming card and quadro is mainly designed for editing work.

Thanks for that. Would a 770 be able to handle 3d modelling and editing? dont want him to spend more money incase he wants to do gaming as well.

The design , architecture and drivers of the two cards are different. Both do there jobs well. If you want a card that can do both gaming as well as editing and is cheaper than the Quadro , you can buy a GTX 780 or 780 Ti
