I have owned a Toughbook CF-19 for around three years now, I decided to get rid of Vista OS and load a fresh copy of WIN7 Ultimate.

After some faffing around with the various drivers it works pretty good including the touchscreen. I also put a new BIOS password in and then promptly forgot it, what a pratt!

I know the BIOS is supposed to be difficult to open and I have tried a few 'known' passwords to no avail, I also have a flaky USB connector so may end up putting a new MB in anyway, any ideas on the BIOS password?

First thank you for taking the time to reply.

OK ignore the 'TEST' just below your post, I had written a reply but the page crashed a couple of times and wanted a short 'test' before I put finger to keyboard again.

I did email Panasonic a couple of times along with proof of ID/receipt of purchase and did not get a reply to either one. After 'talking' to people on other forums it seems that Panasonic customer service is rubbish UNLESS you have purchased one of the high buck latest units, I guess that say's it all? I have a problematic USB post so will just replace the motherboard.

Thanks again for your input.

regards

Dave
