I want to put two different modeled HDD`s into a single partition. (Hardware and Software advice please)

I have a Western Digital caviar Blue (WD10EZEX) with 64 MB cache and SATA 6 Gb/s HDD in my computer, and I want to put in a Western Digital caviar Blue (WD5000AAKS) with 16 MB cache and SATA 3 Gb/s in my computer. My question is, can I put them in the same computer, and run them on the same partition? If so, how do I combine the partitions?

You can put them in the same PC. But why the requirement for "on the same partition" ?

You can't have it be 'one partition'. You can potentially span the volume across the two, but that road is failprone.
