Laptop not formatting/booting problem

Whenever i insert a windows 8.1 DVD to boot(install) it does not read it in bios but it reads when i log into my account in windows. i also tried a recovery file from my hdd but it shows the following error" The partition contains files used during windows push button reset......" Pls help i need toformat and reinstall windows.
My laptop is - Hp pavilion g6 2226tu

  1. Go to ur bios settings enable legacymode and have u tried ur disk in other computers if u not butn ur disk properly u cant boot windows dvds
