HI
i recently assembled a new rig with the config given below

CPU i5-4570 3.2Ghz
RAM 8GB corsair Vengence
MoBo Gigabyte H87 M D3H
PSU Corsair 550V

i am not using any GPU yet

But still FIFA 12 lags a lot

FIFA 12 used to run better on my laptop with just 2GB ram

Please help me fix it

Solution
yes thats awfully low. make sure your cpu runs at 3.2ghz through this software. also to make sure better enable high performance on power options through control panel. also use this to monitor your core temps and ensure they are within acceptable range.at full load shouldnt pass 75c even with stock cooler.
since you have an igp then it uses your ram, for video memory. make sure you have windows in peak condition by killing any unecessary start up programs in ordet to have as much free ram as possible. while gaming make sure nothing else like (mozilla, or ,other programs) that consume a lot of resources.also you could use some software for cleaning up! you could also increase the dedicated memory of the igp(usually from bios)

i used to play COD MW 3 in this rig. But even without a GPU it was real smooth playing it with medium settings.
The performance information page shows the sub score of my processor as 2.9 only.
Could it be that the processor is not working properly ?

it goes upto 3.2 Ghz. But thn it drps down to 700 Mhz to 1.9 Mhz. Then after a few seconds it again increases.
The TMPIN1 temp is 127 degree Celsius and TMPIN2 is 91 rest all are around 30 to 34.
so is there anything wrong with the processor

better try core temp and check core temperatures. 127c must be a faulse reading cause its beyond boiling water! or fahrenheit 127F~ 53C also Mhz flactuation occures due power saving, if you enable high performance as i previously suggested cpu speed should always be at 3.2ghz at all times (at idle or under load)

the core temp are too high...the software you told me to use, its showing the teperatures of the cores to be around 99 degree Celsius

ok then you have an overheating issue. check if cpu fan is operational and heatsink dust free.also check heatsink, is securely placed onto of the cpu. stock cooler is lame so there is a chance you need to re-apply the thermal paste.

stock cooler is functional...its a new rig so dust is not the problem and wires are also routed through the back side. i dont have thermal paste at this instance will check with it tomorrow otherwise i will take this processor to the shop from where i bought it. because in BIOS too its showing 99 degree Celsius CPU core temp

yes, dont use the pc though till you fix this!
