Hi guys,
I was a laptop user for many years, and now I want to build my pc.
i'm not a gamer, I work as a translator and a musician.
I work with Trados and Indesign and Adobe Reader and office and some music softwares (not heavy softwares as cubase).
So, I decided to build a moderate pc that I can upgrade in the future if I decided
to do that or if I decided to work with cubase or other heavy softwares, but, at the same time, I want to feel that my pc now is strong and reliable.
so, after I read a lot of reviews on all parts of the pc computer, I picked these
parts, and I want your opinion if you think I should change something, or if u have other suggestions.
(In the place where I live, these components cost about 1000$, and that is my max budget for building a pc computer).

processor: Intel i5 4670 haswell 3.4gb
m.b: Asus Vanguard b85 1150
cpu cooler: Arctic freezer 7 pro rev.2
RAM: Corsair vengeance (2x4gb) DDR3 1600 dual channel (silver kit)
HDD: Western Digital blue 7200 rpm 1 tb
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120 gb
optical drive: LG 24x sata dvd writer
Case: Thermaltake commander ms-i
psu: silverstone strider 80 plus 600W
cooling fan: Noctua S12a flx 1200

I would be grateful if you write your opinions.
Thanks a lot :)

I would say that the parts that you have chosen are fine for what you want to do with your computer. The one thing that I would suggest is to increase the ram to 16gb as working with music files you may need additional ram. It is however the kind of thing that you can add additional ram later if you want to keep the budget where it's at. Just make sure that if you do add ram it is the same model and type.

Thanks a lot for your respond :) and if I wanted to increase the RAM later, do you think it's better to install now 1x8gb and to add another one in the future, or to stick for now to 2x4gb and to add another kit when I want to increase?
