Hi :) I just want to ask, would I get more fps in game, if i had a better processor? It's not like I need more fps for gaming, but I also really want to record gaming footage. These are my specs, please tell me what you think :)

oh i didnt noticed the OP only has 4gb of DDR3 RAM, 6gb is required nowadays for gaming, 8 even better...

Now, no i don't think a GTX 780ti is ''extremely overkill' for a single display, i have an highly overclocked GTX 780 and i game on one 1080p monitor and i can't max out crysis 3, metro last light, max payne 3 and AC4...so no it's not overkill AT ALL...

man!!! your graphics card came with shadow play, just open nvidia experience and explore, i use it a lot to record gameplay footage and the performance it with this is less than 4%...your cpu is fine upgrading that would be total waste of money...

First off, an i7 has no advantages (in terms of quality, FPS, etc.) over an i5, so that's not an issue, secondly, if you're gaming on only 1 monitor, the GPU is extreme overkill. A single GTX 770 can run up to 3 monitors without any issues. Thirdly, I recommend upgrading the system RAM to 8Gb of DDR3-1866MHz CAS 9 (Either Corsair Vengeance Pro or G. Skill Sniper). Finally, if you do choose to sell the GTX 780 Ti and get a EVGA GTX 770 w/ ACX cooler, you will still have enough money to buy: 1. a CM Hyper 212 EVO (Better CPU cooler than the stock), Avermedia Live Gamer HD (Best video capture card currently) or you could use Nvidia shadowplay. But be warned, captured videos are extremely large so make sure that you have enough space to save your files.

Thx guys! So From now on, I'll try to use shadow play! and buy graphic card is actualy an EVGA geforce gtx 780 ti :D So I should buy new ram? Is this a good ram to purchase?http://www.kingston.com/us/memory/hyperx/predator/beast. and again thank you thank you :)

So I just just add this ram with the other ram? Kingston DDR3 HyperX Beast 16GB
2400MHz 2x8GB KIT CL11 HyperX Beast I can get this for like 185 § and yes I have to money to buy it :) But what will it improve for my gaming experiences?:)

wo wo wo man, i dont get you now...how many RAM is there currently in your system? all you need is 8gb TOTAL, no need for more than that most games today actualy require less than 6gb...having more RAM will not improve your gaming experience by any mean PROVIDED YOU AT LEAST HAVE 8GB OF RAM...from your first post i was lead to believe that you only had 4gb in your system...only make sure you have 8GB and that's it...16GB is WAY overkill you don't need that...it will make no difference...but 4gb is not enough and will old you back in many games...do you understand?

If you do not already have 2 or more hard drives, please get at least two. If you record on the same drive that you play on, you will lag out and get very low fps. You need to play on one drive, and record on the other. Even an external drive would work

I always thought that my cpu was the problem, but oh no. So much better with 2 drives :) I could never find out why i lost more than 40 frame no matter what setting.

yes do that and youll be just fine : use shadowplay to record your games and tell it to save your footage on the other drive (not the one your games are installed on..) and youll see you will loose like 3 or 4 fps max when recording...

now for the ram, 6gb will get you by...the ideal would be 8gb (2x 4gb for dual channel performance) but if you have 6gb its enough for every games so i would stick with those..

What ram? The 6gb you have already got?

I would personally only go with 8gb or higher, but i am sure that 6gb will be fine. At least for the start.
