I've had this laptop for a while now (HP G62) and it has recently stopped connecting to displays via HDMI. I have tried changing cables and settings and it seems it isn't easily fixed by a reboot either.
I have a feeling the problem might be in the drivers, as the battery is dead and relies on AC power to function and shuts off occasionally, however I cannot find Intel HD Graphics drivers online to reinstall that are still compatible with the laptop. I add that the laptop does still recognize the details of the device it's connecting to, and that I can still select any options or preferences as if it were still there but still no output is detected.
