hi, recently i started getting this problem where my mouse and keyboard would just randomly stop working. the lights on both would keep flickering, i tried unplugging and replugging but then the computer doesnt recognize them. and the only thing that works is to do a hard reboot.
also my mouse will keep cutting out at random times as well, while the keyboard is still working, the mouse will start working again in 2 seconds, this problem happens more consistently than the first problem. i am wondering if this is a motherboard issue. please help.
i have a g500 mouse and microsoft sidewinder x4 keyboard
system specs:
cpu: intel i5 3570k @ 3.4 ghz
gpu: nvidia gtx 670
psu: ocz modxstream pro 700W
mobo: asrock z68 extreme3 gen3
