Make sure the drives have both data and power connecters plugging in firmly; check both of the cable ends.
This I have done already,I also made sure that all the sata ribbons are in order to how I want devices to boot up.Starting with the dvdr drive, primary drive and secondary drive.
I looked in the bios to check the boot order and it only shows one of the hard drives. The only way I can get this computer to recognize the hard drive manual by changing the ribbons around and leaving the other drive unplugged.
I have another puter that Im on right now it has no problem recognizing 2 drives. They both show up in computer using windows 7.
Im going to try a different drive in the other computer to see if it makes any difference but I have to get a eide to sata interface converter before I can do this.Im out of sata drives at the moment.
