I have a HP laptop with a Core i3-2330M and HD3000 graphics, it works good for basic tasks, but for some light gaming it's slow, it has 4GB of RAM DDR3 @666MHZ Single Channel, the mainboard has 2 slots but only 1 is used, I wonder if changing the RAM to a pair of 2GB @1333MHZ DDDR3, one in each slot, would increase the graphical performance, I'm fine with the 4GB, but I think those 666MHZ are slowing it up.

Not for gaming. The graphics card and vram (not normal ram) are what pertain to gaming unless the extremes or minimums for a game are involved.
