alright so im on my phone and my internet works perfectly fine. mom's/dad's/2 sisters' laptops and phones, they all work perfectly fine. but my computer's internet is like .001% as fast as it should be. it takes a good minute to load a webpage. it wasnt this slow a couple weeks ago. back then it was fine but it progressively got slower. so i KNOW that it's my computer/network adapter causing it. i tried updating my network adapter's driver and it didnt fix it and starting my computer is safe mode shows the same results. any ideas?

weird things that happen:
1. if i open a webpage, leave it for like a minute, then hit the back button, it wont do anything. like.. the page will blink as if it went back but it stays on the same page so i need to spam it like 15-30 times before itll go to the actual previous page
2. ping that pretty much disconnects me but still a 2+Mbps down speed
3. decent (almost average upload speed)
4. webpages load slow as hell, i get a HUGE ping in games, but i can usually watch youtube videos fine

wireless. i cant hook it up through ethernet because i have a big desktop and a bunch of cords and 2 monitors etc that i dont want to lug across the house just to test. although i tried another network adapter and that didnt improve anything

Is your wifi adapter USB type or pci-e slot type?

If it is usb is it plugged in the front or the back of the computer?

Try downloading a program called SSIDer to your desktop and see what channel your network is on, the signal power at your location, and if your neighbors are using the same channel and have signal power close to yours. There here is less then a 20 db difference between your network and your neighbors network then you are getting interferance.

Have you tried power cycling your modem and router? This is the process I use whenever I have any issues with any networking, wired or wireless:

Disconnect the power and coax cable from the modem.
Disconnect power to router.
Wait 2 minutes.
Reconnect power and coax to modem.
Wait 2 minutes.
Connect power to router.
