Hi guys,

Recently got a i5 4670 non k running on a stock cooler voltage set to normal on bios so it doesnt even boost or go past 3.4ghz and im getting temps of 80c under load and temps of 30-40's on idle (Using core temp) does this seem normal?

Ive seen a few topics around similar regarding to the k version and people saying its quite normal for haswell but sounds so high.

Apparently 72.72°C is the tcase max according to intel but im confused with all these temps (aka tcase - TJ ) etc But if im getting core readings of 80c doesnt mean its hitting tcase max temp of 72.72.c does it? Is that right little confused lol...

Either way with the case i have and running a r9 280x v2 asus card which hits (80c) under load, the heat off the gpu is causing allot of heat soak as it is.

So i plan on running a corsair 240mm liquid system to help the cpu, and run exhaust fans on top case is a Silenco coolermaster 352.

Yea was thinking that to why i was thinking of using the 240mm radiator at the front and using the top and back as exhaust fans basically best i can do without buying a entire new case. Even with the side panel off doesnt make much of a difference :S
