Dual core apu

I'm sure it can do decent, I would honestly save up the extra 20-30 dollars for a quad core APU though.

I always wondered how the high clocked 4ghz+ dual core Richland APU's would fare gaming, but I've only ever seen testing done on the quad cores.

You're going to be sticking to low settings on 720p, but it'll certainly be playable. They good for gaming on a budget. Before I got my gpu I could play anything I wanted on low 720p settings with my hd4000 intel integrated, and AMD's built in graphics trump the hd4000, so you should be more than good to go.

with an APU, having fast RAM is also important.
