This is just as good as that build would be, in gaming that is

Can you explain why?

Sure. Because 1080p gaming does not require such ridiculous parts.

A regular i7 is unnecessary, much less a six core i7.
$100 Liquid cooling with $22 paste? You won't need to overclock at all, much less THAT much.
A $230 motherboard? A $70-100 one would do just fine.
16GB of RAM? You'll never use more than 8GB.
A 512GB ssd? Alright it's hard to argue this one if you can afford it, but there are much cheaper ones that are practically as good. It's usually best to get a 120-256GB ssd and a 1-2TB hard drive.
A 1200w psu? That's twice as much power than you need and it's 4x more expensive than necessary.
The case is great and a good choice.
$60 in case fans?
Even a GTX780ti is massive overkill for a single 1080p monitor.

If you have this much money to blow, I recommend spending about $1000 less on parts and either buy one 1600p monitor or three 1080p monitors

Thanks for your advice, but with games like Watch Dogs that have high system requirements do you still think my build is overkill?

The reason that I choose the 6 core i7 was because I thought that games were being made to use more than 4 cores. Is this true?

But do you think that this build would max out every game?

Thanks again for the advice. Another question I have is about the power supply. The reason I choose such a big power supply is because I want to go sli in the future and I heard that power supplies diminish over time. Is this true?

You don't have to laugh at me! I am not a computer know it all like you! All I did was respectfully ask a question but if you can't respectfully give me an answer then maybe you should not post anything!

It's okay, don't worry about it. But what do you think about my power supply question?
