Motherboard: ASUS Z87 Pro
CPU: i5 4670K
Firstly, the reason I asked this dumb question is I do not know anything about OC...I didn't plan to OC until I learn a bit more. But since my MO nicely did it for me already, I think I need to make sure whether my rig is fine or not...it's only 3 days old >.>
My Motherboard automatically overclock my CPU to 4.5K mHZ at 1.275V-1.325V when it believed I need high performance stuff. Is this voltage fine for that frequency?
I know OC will reduce the lifetime of the CPU, but is it a really important thing I should worry about right now?
If yes, should I keep the high performance setting there all the time, or I sholuld make to "Auto", which means it will change my CPU back forth depend on what i am doing, OR I should leave it to "power saving" switch to high performance when I needed?
Any further help would be appreciate!
