I'm considering getting an ASUS VG248QE . I would want to run SLI to push it as far as I can. I know a 750W psu wont be sufficient for two 780's. I think it might be able to handle two 770's. Should I sell my 780 and get two 770's or a single 780 ti? I know I will lose a little money on selling the 780. However, I cant justify using a monitor like that unless I'm utilizing that high refresh rate.

Rig:
mobo: Asrock Fatality Killer
cpu: i5 4670k
Ram: 16 gigs Kingston Hyper X
Gpu: Asus Direct Cu II gtx 780
PSU; EVGA Supernova 750w Bronze
Cooler: Corsair H100i
Case: Fractal R4 White with Window
HDD: WD Blue 1 TB
SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 120 GB
OS: Windows 7 64 Bit

The truth is I dont. I really want a monitor with more color depth, better blacks, and a slightly higher resolution. I would actually much rather get any of these three.

Acer H236HLbid - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
ASUS VS24AH-P - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
ASUS VN248H-P - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

But, the positive respons to the ASUS VG248QE is almost overwhelming in making me want to get it. Its just High Refresh rate and 1-2ms response time doesnt mean that much to me. I'm happy with 60 FPS. All I want is smooth gameplay, no ghosting, and deep rich color. I really feel like I would be sacrificing that by getting a TN panel.

But my wanting to upgrade comes with buying a 144 hz monitor. I feel like it would be a waste of money to get that monitor with only one 780 considering most of the games I play are fairly graphically intensive at their max setting. IE Assassins creed and Metro Last light. I'm also not into competitive gaming or first person shooters that lack a captivating story.
