I have an HP Proline Ml110 G3 with a Seagate 7200RPM HDD from 2006

I'm currently in the process of upgrading it to windows 7, and I was wondering if a newer HDD would benefit me because the current drive is older.

I did a test on the drive, and it has some bad sectors but nothing horrific.

I agree with i7baby a new one will be faster. Also once a HDD starts to get bad sectors it becomes a time bomb with a random timer. The more you have the more that start to show up until it finally dies it can take years or it may decide to give up tomorrow you can't reliably tell.
