Really need help!

Hello all!

I've got this mobo: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3 Socket 775 and it's failing cant find anywhere to buy,, so is it gonna be compatible if i get this one: Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3L
???

yes it will, same socket and almost identical to your other motherboard.

though you haven't listed your CPU, the board is so similar it'll work without a doubt.

You should be fine. Might have an OS issue depending on which one you have. But more then likely you'll be just fine.

i told you i don't know about my CPU and don't know how to identify, can u tell me how now??
and then one in ebay is used,, so that's why im asking if its okay to order the other one.

Since your PC doesn't boot, you'll have to take off your CPU cooler and look on top/underneath the CPU chip to find out what CPU it is.

It'll be an Pentinum/Celeron/Core 2 or Xeon chip, most likely Pentinum.

It should be fine if it's used, as long as it works ;)  Which the item condition indicates so.

If it was working before it will still be working. The boards are the same, the only issue you might have is with the OS. A call to MS should fix it if it even happens.
