Because of problems with a sometimes unresponsive or eratic behavior with sony rf mouse keyboard in win 8.1, I installed a Logitech rf pair. Because the Logitech pair also started to act up, I tried to power on the sony mouse and something installed -I guess over something else- (I saw a tiny clock or exclamation mark image on the taskbar next to some icon). Since then the sony mouse does not work at all even in safe mode (the keyboard does). I even tried a complete system restore and nothing improved. Now I have two rf transponders on my vaio, the sony one for the sony keyboard and the Logitech one for the logitech mouse! What happened? Is it fixable since a system restore didn't fix it?
When I try to re-pair the mouse while booting, I suddenly see the mouse pointer but I won't move.
My machine is a sony vaio svt21213cxb.
All help appreciated

Dear Parthu Revanth the only driver related to the problem I found in sony support was this: http://esupport.sony.com/US/p/swu-download.pl?mdl=SVT21213CXB&upd_id=9005&os_group_id=24
It is a patch is that ok? it says win8 I have win8.1
other drivers I found were mentioned as remote keyboards drivers which are not for the basic rf keyboard but for other keyboards, e.g sony ps3 etc.

my vaio did not come with original disks

I Installed the patch. It went o.k but nothing changed. It is weird that the mouse will behave erratically and when I surf a webpage with active links it will almost pause on each one of them even though I'm moving the mouse. It's not happening every time but very often.... Can't seem to get to the bottom of this. It used to do it only with the vaio mouse but now it's doing it with the logitech one as well!
