Hi, Recently I built a new machine and had a sata cable less than what i needed, so i installed everything but the DVD drive.
PC worked fine the whole day with a lot of restarts and updates and it always booted fine.
The next day i bought a sata cable and installed the DVD drive. The PC started giving me problems booting up. It would get stuck on the Manufacturers logo and never boot until I open the DVD tray.
I have tried a different DVD drive and the system works fine with it. but the one i have, keeps on getting my pc stuck on boot.
I have disabled it from boot.
Any ideas why this might be happening?
