Hi,

I am going to buy this product: Kingston HyperX Beast

Is there a motherboard that supports DDR3 2400 or would I have to underclock it?

I don't want to have to spend more than £65 or so on a motherboard. So is there a better combination of motherboard and RAM for a better price as I am looking at 2 x 4GB RAM and a motherboard with AM3 CPU socket for my FX-6300.

Thanks

Hi. These days, most Motherboards will support up to 1600Mhz natively ( may be some at 1866 Mhz, but I haven't seen them ). Anything above 1600 Mhz will need to be OC'd to achieve that speed. Personally, I believe that once you go above 2133 Mhz, you are just wasting money. I am running 2133 Mhz although I can go higher.
