Hey,
I am looking to get a good gaming laptop as I travel frequently and can't take a pc with me lol. I have a budget of about £600. If it is impossible for ultra settings can someone recommend me a build to get the best quality out of that amount please! Thanks in advance!

Also I own a lenovo G505s with an A10-5750M and it holds itself quite well for its price range in some games. Being that its AMD based I'm not sure how well it'd fare in skyrim as I haven't tried it yet. Runs all source engine games maxed out though (like CSGO and L4D2) no problem at 720p. I like its build quality and minimalistic looks. Terrible tiny 5W speakers (on board audio with headphones isn't a stellar performer itself either but I'm picky on my audio so you might not notice it) and also horrid viewing angles on the screen though. Also I installed my own 4x2GB g skill SODIMMs and a samsung 840 EVO 128GB SSD to give it some extra pep.

(The stock configuration came with only 1 4GB stick causing a single channel memory bandwidth...

(The stock configuration came with only 1 4GB stick causing a single channel memory bandwidth bottleneck and AMD APUs feed off of memory bandwidth. Also I've heard older asus G75 with a 670M going on sell refurbished for around $750-$800. Might want to poke around there. Be sure to report back to us your findings as I love to help :)
