GPU + Graphics card?

Im building my first PC and i bought an AMD A10-5800k for the processor. I also own a Nvidia Geforce GTX 460. I know that the processor has intigrated graphics so would using the 460 be of any use? Im a little confused on this subject.

That's fine. You just specify which GPU the system will use. I am not sure which is faster, but my guess is that the GTX 460 would be. To find out, run a benchmark on a game at the highest settings. Then install the video card and run it again. Compare results and decide which to use.
