My system: AMD FX 6100 6 core, Gigabyte 990fx-uda3, sli-bridged (1st) card EVGA 560gtx 2gb (2nd) card MSI, 8gb Kingston DDR31600 ram, 750 ATX PSU. My question is; are these graphics cards that I have paired are they going to be good enough for all these new upcoming games, and if not what would be a suitable upgrade? Or would I be good for a while with these cards?

Solution
It depends on your resolution... If you are playing on a single monitor at 1080p to 1440p I'd go for a single high end card (gtx 780, r9 290x, or gtx 780 ti). Only reason to go with sli imo would be if you are using surround/eyefinity or a 4k monitor and in that case you will want 4gb + of vram on each card if you want to play at high settings ( maybe 2 gtx 770 4gbs(~$800), or 2 r9 290's(~$900)). Depending on your budget of course you could go much higher end than that... Maybe list your resolution and budget and i can give you a better answer.

Ok I appreciate your insight. I mean i figured I wouldn't have to yet since I haven't had any performance issues yet, so when I start needing to upgrade though, would you say stick with a single card or pair up? An if I go single what card would you say a well as if I were to pair?
