Hello, I was curious whether a CiT 700w can power an R9 270.
I know these psu's are pieces of poo, however I don't want to spend more money on another psu as I'm not exactly capable of spending that much money. Other specs:
amd fx 4100
8gb ram ddr3 @1333mhz
2x sata drive
asrock srock n68 vs3 fx Motherboard

More about : cit 700w power 270

No you should not use the card with that smps...Your risking the card by doing that...But it will work with that smps as it requires less power given that your psu outputs atleast 500w...

It's got plenty of wattage on paper. You're probably fine with it.

I would encourage your to upgrade it as soon as you can. Cheap PSUs can cause all sorts of problems as they age.

Yes, it can, although I wouldn't overclock anything with that psu :)

Thanks, so are you saying that I am fine with it as long as I don't overclock it and buy a new psu pretty soon?
Meh, I might just as well wait as it's my birthday in a month XD
