New backplate availability?

EVGA has just released their new GTX 780 graphics cards with 6 GB of RAM, though as of this writing, they are only taking orders for deliveries, pending. My question is, does anyone have any idea as to if/when the back-plates will be available for these new cards?

Have you tried asking EVGA customer support? I'm sure they would have a better answer than anyone here.

I would think it's very likely the backplate won't be any different than the regular 780 backplate. They would also be able to confirm that.
