So I have a MSI Z87m Gaming Mobo, and I have an nvidia 760 that I normally use to connect with. But I noticed that this mobo has an HDMI slot. I wanted to try and connecting my tv to it and see how it looks but my tv wont detect a signal.

Video card = signal
Mobo = no signal

AFAIK I have all the latest drivers from their website. What gives?

If you have installed a video card, plug your HDMI cable into that. Your onboard display options are likely disabled. (Though there are boards that will support simultaneous output using onboard intel graphics)

I'm a little worried to be honest. my 4670k i5 has HD graphics but it wont show up and I can't seem to install drivers for it. I'd like to try and eventually use two monitors....

is something wrong with the Mobo?

You can use two monitors with the single GTX760, possibly three with an active adapter.

Generally when you install a video card the onboard graphics ports are disabled.
