I'm wanting to upgrade my graphics card (The GTX 670) and was just wondering what the best option for me, and my price range would be.

My current spec's are;

Geforce GTX 670 2gb DDR5 - GPU
Intel i5 3.4ghz quad core 4670k - CPU (Not overclocked, overclocks to 3.8ghz according to the box :p)
8GB Corsair DDR3 Vengeance - RAM
Asus Z87-PRO, Intel Z87, S 1150 - Motherboard
650W Corsair Enthusiast Series 650T - Power supply
1TB Seagate ST1000DM003 Barracuda - HDD (if relevant) :p

My price limit is £300. Im willing to go slightly over that... but not much. I've researched and seen the R9 or 780? But I wanted to create a fresh thread, because such is the way with computing, everything is changing rapidly, what is the best option one month might not be the best option the next month :).

(Just a side note; I'd prefer not to go down the crossfire route because my current GPU is possibly slightly damaged, it's noisy and temp's are around 82 whilst gaming.)

Thank's in advance for your advice guys!

Upgrading to GTX 770 is pointless. The performance gain is just a few FPS over his GTX 670 and it doesn't justify spending £300 on it.

Try selling your GTX 670 and add the money you get to your budged and buy a GTX 780 or a R9 290 if you want to keep a single GPU setup. If you are willing to attempt SLI then buying a second GTX 670 will boost your performance even higher.

The other option is to wait a little longer and see what new graphics cards will be released in the next few months.
