Hi,
I recently picked up a GTX 750 ti and discovered it was incompatible with my HP computer because of the motherboard's out of date BIOS (which HP doesn't plan on updating), so I returned it. I was looking for other graphics cards that perform well under $180 and found the R7 260x. Will it work on my PC? If not, any other suggestions?

PC Specs:
Model: h8-1222:
Motherboard: IPISB-CH2
CPU: i7 2600
PSU: 430 W

I doubt that it was a bios issue but rather your HP power supply was too weak to run the card.

No, I upgraded my PSU prior to purchasing the 750 ti (this is a very low power consuming card anyway), that was not the problem. Several others with HP computers have encountered this problem with 700 series cards.
