I currently have the following system:

Asus P9X79-Pro
Intel Core i7-4930k
G.Skill Ripjawz 16gb
EVGA Geforce 780ti
120gb Kingston Hyper-X SSD/ 4tb Seagate HDD

Should I buy another 780ti for SLI, wait for Maxwell flagship, or keep the video card the same and wait for Intel to release the X99 chipset and haswell-e with support for the new DDR4 ram?

Is haswell-e worth it over my current set-up or do you think DDR4 is mostly a gimmick at this stage? bottom line, which upgrade would net me the most noticeable performace boost in gaming and day-to-day use?

I think you should wait. Then get the new Maxwell gpu first.

Haswell-E is probably going to be 10% faster then your rig on pure synthetic becnmarks. To me, that doesn't justify an upgrade. DDR4 is not going to be that different from DDR3 for a while

But man, you should get a proper SSD now. How do you live with 120gb??

I only have a 120; it's just used for Windows and a few utilities that I know I won't ever uninstall. I imagine since he also has a 4TB drive, his SSD usage is similar to mine. Are people using SSDs for game and media drives now? I thought that would be too many excessive writes. His rig seems good to go; I bet he's just bored and has a few extra bucks to spend.
