i3, since you don't need a second integrated GPU that's quite strong. And also, i3's cheaper. So you can get a GTX 760 with the extra money.

it depends on what you will be doing. if you want the 2 extra cores, or the overclockability of the a-10, its a better buy. the i3 is really only better in single-core tasks, however it does have hyperthreading, so its almost as good as 4 cores :p  i honestly would go with the A-10 because then you also have the option for dual-graphics mode. http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i3-4330-vs-AMD-A10-7...

If he wants extra cores, why don't he go with a FX-8320?!

Dual graphics can actually handicap a video card if the chipset is a lot weaker than the discrete card.

Maybe because it costs twice as much.

it all depends on your budget really, if you have a really low budget then consider an A-10 and a low-end amd card, or if you have a little more money then an i3 or fx 6300.

Oh, for some reason I thought we were talking about an i3-4130 ($100), and I was looking at the FX-8320 on Newegg that's $160.

There's really no advantage at all to the A10-7850K, then. Aside from dual graphics, which is very inconsistent and not recommended unless you have a very weak video card (which the original poster does not).

Okay, now that you got the pricing.
So I would get the i3 cause upgrade is easier. And also, there's no point in installing a dedicated GPU on some mid-range integrated GPU.
