Just went to get something off my Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex 2TB and there is nothing in one of my three partitions! Of course it's the one where I keep everything that's important. I have it hooked up to my network and am running Windows 8 on my PC. The light on the GoFlex is glowing amber instead of green. So, why are two partitions okay and the one isn't? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Did you check the owners manual to see what the amber light is telling you?
and let me add that important files should never be stored in just 1 device. (3 partitions on 1 drive are all 1 device)
All drives fail and having multiple copies in multiple places/devices is the only way to survive it.
